Study map for the Boronia Precinct Local Area Traffic Management Plan

Council engaged Consultant ptc. to undertake a Local Area Traffic Management Study (LATMS) for the Boronia precinct in 2021 in response to community concerns.

Community consultation was conducted during April and May 2021, where participants were invited to provide feedback on traffic issues and safety in the Boronia precinct more broadly, using an interactive map.

A draft report was then prepared to provide a Local Area Traffic Management Plan to address the concerns raised and present an assessment of relevant background information, traffic data, community consultation surveys and an on-site investigation. In October 2021, public feedback was invited on the draft Plan.

As part of the draft Local Area Traffic Management for Boronia Park, works involving crack sealing, line marking and signage installation took place in October 2021 as part of the road safety audit that was undertaken by Council on Ryde Road.
