The capital works program for new projects in 2023-24 is valued at almost $15 million.

Our capital program is funded through special rate variations, developer contributions, grants, and general funds and will include works on:

  • Buildings
  • Kerb and gutter
  • Marine structures
  • Open space
  • Footpath renewal
  • Road renewal
  • Traffic management
  • Drainage
  • Plant and motor vehicles
  • Information systems.

Current Works

Please be advised that there will be temporary disruptions to traffic on Mount Street and Collingwood Street, Hunters Hill on Monday, 6 May due to road rehabilitation works.

Mount Street will undergo road re-sheeting while road repairs will be conducted on Collingwood Street.

Works will run between 8am and 5pm, weather permitting.

Street access will be restricted to residents and emergency vehicles while works are under way.

These works are part of our Capital Works Program.


New pedestrian island

A new pedestrian island has been installed at the intersection of Crown Street and Sherwin Street, Henley.

Please be aware of the new traffic conditions in place and be mindful when driving in the area.

The island was installed as part of our Capital Works Program to help improve accessibility and pedestrian safety.


Bridge Renewal Program

The footbridge off Manning Road, Hunters Hill is now open and accessible to the public.

It is one of two footbridges at Riverglade Reserve where maintenance work is being undertaken.

The remaining bridge works at the footbridges off Rocher Avenue, Hunters Hill is expected to be completed by the end of February, weather permitting.

While works are underway, the bridges will be closed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
