Draft Community Strategic Plan suite

Overview

Council held an extraordinary meeting on Monday 5 May during which they endorsed a suite of documents for public exhibition that will guide Council over this term of office.

The Community Strategic Plan 2025–2035, also known as the CSP, is the overarching document that sets Council’s long-term vision and goals for the next 10 years. It is broken down into a four-year strategy through the Delivery Program 2025-2029. The third document in this planning suite is the Operational Plan 2025 -2026, which lists the direct actions Council will take in the next financial year to achieve the goals set out in the CSP.

Council consulted thoroughly to ensure these documents truly reflect what the community values and wants us to achieve.

The draft 2025-26 Budget including proposed Fees and Charges and the Long-Term Financial Plan was also reported at the 5 May meeting, and it will complement the above suite of documents.
