The Draft AI Usage Policy outlines how Council will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) safely, securely and responsibly. It aims to protect Council information, systems and data, ensure all representatives understand their responsibilities when using AI, and establish clear approval, governance and oversight processes for AI use.

The community are invited to have their say on the draft policy from Thursday 25 June 2026 to Friday 17 July 2026. Submissions will be received up until 5pm on Friday 17 July 2026 by filling in the online form below.
